MTM Technologies Designs, Deploys and Manages Cutting-Edge Network for Scaled Composites

STAMFORD, CT – December 3, 2007 –MTM Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: MTMC), a leading national provider of innovative IT solutions and services to Global 2000 and mid-size companies, today announced it has completed the deployment of a Cisco Unified Communications system and Citrix Application Gateway™ for Scaled Composites, the company best known in space circles as the developer of SpaceShipOne, the first private manned spacecraft to exceed an altitude of 328,000 feet twice within the span of a 14-day period to claim the Ansari X-Prize.
For Scaled Composites, maintaining constant communication is not optional. Scaled Composites employees need to be able to communicate effectively and reliably throughout their entire organization—from Mojave, CA to literally anywhere in the world. When it came time to replace their aging private branch exchange (PBX) telephone systems and communications infrastructure, Scaled Composites selected MTM Technologies to design, deploy, and manage their unified communications.
Converging voice, data, and delivering applications to the screens and speakers of IP phones has enabled Scaled Composites to tightly integrate their communications systems with their information technology (IT) infrastructure, streamlining key business processes. Efficiency has improved across the company as most employees process their voicemail messages together with their email messages. Telephone trunking costs have been reduced and maintenance charges, licensing fees, and support costs associated with the old PBX systems have been eliminated. Also, security for both voice and data traffic have been improved.
