MTM Technologies Helps Philadelphia International Advisors Manage Key Assets
When Philadelphia International Advisors decided it was time for a new computing infrastructure and the support services to manage it, they turned to MTM Technologies and found everything they needed—three months ahead of schedule.
STAMFORD, CT – March 12, 2007 – MTM Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: MTMC), a leading national provider of innovative IT solutions and services to Global 2000 and mid-size companies, today announced it has designed and delivered a comprehensive IT infrastructure management solution to Philadelphia International Advisors, LP ("PIA"). This new business relationship includes a multi-year managed support services contract valued at over $1 million—featuring MTM Technologies’ Aware360SM, customized network support and monitoring solutions specially designed to optimize system availability, improve reliability, strengthen security, and reduce costs. Other solution areas provided include systems infrastructure, network infrastructure, and information security.
PIA is recognized as a leader in the delivery of quality international investment management services. Managing $8.4 billion in client assets, PIA was founded as a partnership between The Glenmede Trust Company's former international equity team and Glenmede. PIA established support for the Information Technology assets for the new firm. As the organization grew however, the need for continuous improvement, highly available technology, and peerless customer service became increasingly important. PIA leadership recognized that the computing support model was strategic to the business and determined that a customized, outsourced solution was in order.
MTM Technologies worked closely with the leadership at PIA to determine their needs and understand their business goals. A comprehensive assessment of the current computing infrastructure—including network, servers, operating systems, applications, storage, and security—was performed. With detailed recommendations in hand to update their computing infrastructure, PIA and MTM Technologies worked together to develop the project plan for implementation. “We were very impressed with the design recommendations, the total attention to detail, and the technical skills of the team at MTM Technologies,” said Kent Weaver, Director Client Service and Chief Compliance Officer.
Tasked with completing the project by March 2007, MTM Technologies moved to the implementation phase, leveraging their project management and technological expertise to meet PIA’s specific business needs and overall business strategy—and finished the project more than three months ahead of schedule.
