STAMFORD, CT – April 5, 2007 – MTM Technologies, Inc. Microsoft Windows Server code name "Longhorn" is the next-generation Windows Server operating system designed to provide IT professionals with maximum control over their infrastructure through increased security, reliability, and flexibility.

“Anticipation is building for the next-generation operating system from Microsoft as IT professionals determine how best to prepare for the arrival of the biggest server release since Windows 2003,” said Michele Crockett, Group Director, Windows IT Pro Custom Media. “Since this Roadshow is designed to deliver a live, under-the-hood look at the many benefits of Windows Server ‘Longhorn’, technical content will be presented by Windows Server experts, including MTM Technologies.”

Produced by Windows IT Custom Media, the Windows Server “Longhorn” Roadshow is a traveling showcase filled with demonstrations, providing a full day of information and discussions about upgrading, enhancements, and expectations. The information will be presented in three tracks—virtualization, remote access, and secure application hosting on the web.

Several key MTM Technologies IT experts have been invited to present track two of the technical sessions of the Roadshow—Accessing Applications Remotely and Securely with Windows Server "Longhorn"—sharing speaking responsibilities at all sixteen cities. This track spotlights the essential information necessary to understand the new capabilities in Windows Server "Longhorn" for accessing applications via Terminal Services and explores increased network security features. They will also address administrators concerns through a variety of scenario-based demonstrations of the new features in Windows Server "Longhorn" that enable users to access applications remotely and securely.

“These one-day events are the best ‘fast-track’ opportunity available for Windows Server professionals to get up to speed quickly and easily as they plan for their move to ‘Longhorn’,” explained Crockett. “By providing users with the very best education and access to outstanding industry experts, the Roadshows inform, enlighten, and enable IT professionals to take an important step toward implementing the next-generation Windows Server operating system.”
